Designed for use in Creative Arts (Visual Arts) , this poster encourages students to self-monitor their learning with attention to the Success Criteria and design requirements of their task, use of media and attention to detail, creative efforts, completion of tasks in a timely manner and general co-operation in the class setting. It can also be a useful resource to have on hand during a three-way conference (parent-student-teacher). Please spend some time ‘unpacking’ the rubric with your students to clarify your expectations and theirs. For example, your understanding of ‘Craftsmanship’, is probably different to the students’ initial understanding - usually ‘colouring in between the lines’.
